We all know the hazards of smoking and the potential dangers of second hand smoke. But a new study from the Medical College of Georgia has determined that exposure to second hand smoke is associated with a larger waist and poorer thinking skills in children who are overweight or obese to begin with.

Results showed that body fat percentages of children who were exposed to second-hand smoke were higher than those of overweight children without passive smoke exposure.
